There are early print versions of The Homeward Heart, A Love Too Proud, Destiny’s Shadow, and Millionaires’ Row published by Dorchester/ Leisure and iUniverse that are out of print but still floating around in the used book marketplace. I reclaimed the rights and re-edited and released these works as eBooks. I just recently released them in print as 2nd editions. The story is the same as the earlier version, but the eBooks and 2nd edition print books offer more historical detail, expanded subplots, and greater character development for a more sophisticated read.
It is important to note that these works were originally published in a different time. Publishers had different demands, and there was no internet through which to do research. Historical fiction authors had to depend on the library. There was not the treasure trove of nitty gritty historical detail available then that is available today on the internet. So, authors were forced to read between the lines and guess at the truth or make it up. My eBooks and 2nd edition print books correct inaccurate historical details as well as expand on them. I think the reader will find the updated versions a much more heightened reading experience.
